Why I ride a motorcycle reason #6289 9/5/2006
I just got home after spending 2 hours stuck in rush hour traffic. 2 bloody hours which I could have bloody spent doing something more constructive, like drinking beer by the swimming pool.
I sat there, fuming. I had 4 liters, 6 cylinders, four wheel drive and 200 some horsepower at my beck and call, and there I was moving along at a speed barely enough to even make the speedometer needle even move off the rest.
I know why I prefer riding a motorcycle, even at the worst of times. And I don’t understand why everyone else driving a car doesn’t do so. It would make things so much easier for everyone. And save some of the planet’s resources in the process.

Aww… poor thing. why did you take the truck out today?
cos it rains in this country?
KY : If it rains, you get wet. No big deal.
riding a bike is no doubt fun (i’m sure you guys know about how funbags can be a lot more fun when they were pillion ridden…), but lugging along a helmet and smelling like petrol fume, is not.
Because it would be dangerous for a woman to ride around on a motorcycle alone in this city?
Because there’s nowhere to put suitcases or shopping?
Because it would mean i wouldn’t get to wear dresses and skirts?
Because I can’t put on lipstick at the red light with the helmet on?
(just kidding, i don’t do that last one in cars either)
cos cars have stereo system?
IB : Would you like to try riding on the back of a 916 wearing a miniski… oh, wait…you’ve done that.
Spiller : So did the Goldwing I used to have. And for all other bikes, just one word…iPod.
Hahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah!!!
Ride well, (next time)
=gc=
Snark: Next time IB pillions on the duc, let de boys know…
